# Zuvu AI and Vana Collaborate to Enhance Distributed AI on Bittensor
Zuvu AI and Vana revealed on February 26 their collaboration to improve distributed AI on Bittensor. Their goal is to develop an AI system that is more accessible and economically sound.
Zuvu AI, formerly SocialTensor, is skilled in expanding Bittensor (TAO) subnets. Vana, which recently received guidance from Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, contributes its user-controlled data network.
Together, they intend to construct a novel method for creating AI that is transparent, cooperative, and economically viable by integrating essential components of the decentralized AI stack.
## Establishing Tangible Worth
Art Abal, Managing Director at Vana Foundation, stated that this alliance combines Vana’s data layer, Bittensor’s subnet networks, and Zuvu’s economic layer. This will enhance Vana’s DataDAO ecosystem and address significant obstacles in AI development.
Zuvu will bolster the AI economic layer, enabling investment, staking, trading, and monetization of models, agents, and data, thereby generating fresh prospects in a rapidly expanding market. According to a press release, the AI market is anticipated to reach trillions of dollars by 2032.
## DeFi’s Increasing Influence
This collaboration and integration with Bittensor is tactical, utilizing its incentivized network to broaden AI development. By merging user-owned data with permissionless computing and economic incentives, this partnership demonstrates how decentralized finance is disrupting conventional finance.
According to Abal and Zuvu AI COO Daniel Raissar, this alliance should augment Bittensor’s subnet variety, support Vana’s DataDAO growth, and establish Zuvu as a frontrunner in AI financialization, potentially shaping industry standards.
This partnership corresponds to the increasing pattern of open-source Artificial Intelligence, reflecting the demand for substitutes for consolidated Artificial Intelligence leaders, as shown by Bittensor’s growth to 45 functioning subnets.
