# Zuvu AI and Vana Join Forces to Boost Decentralized AI on Bittensor
On February 26th, Zuvu AI and Vana declared a collaboration to strengthen decentralized AI technology on Bittensor. The two firms intend to build a more accessible and financially sound AI environment. Zuvu AI (previously SocialTensor) delivers hands-on experience in expanding four Bittensor (TAO) subnets, while Vana, recently counseled by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, offers its groundbreaking user-owned data network. This alliance strives to verify a novel, open, cooperative, and economically feasible AI development paradigm by incorporating essential elements of a decentralized AI technology stack.
## Generating Tangible Worth
Art Abal, General Manager of the Vana Foundation, mentioned that the partnership merges Vana’s data layer, Bittensor’s subnet network, and Zuvu’s economic layer to enhance Vana’s DataDAO ecosystem and tackle vital issues in AI development. Zuvu backs the AI economic layer, facilitating investment, staking, trading, and monetization of models, agents, and data, thereby producing fresh possibilities in a quickly growing market. As stated in the press release, the partnership aligns with the AI market’s anticipated expansion to a multi-trillion dollar scale by 2032.
## The Rising Disruptive Power of DeFi
This collaboration’s integration with Bittensor is tactical, utilizing Bittensor’s incentive-driven network to scale AI development. By merging user-owned data with permissionless computation and economic incentives, the partnership mirrors the disruptive effect of decentralized finance on conventional finance.
According to Abal and Daniel Raissar, COO of Zuvu AI, the partnership is anticipated to boost the diversity of Bittensor’s subnets, aid the expansion of Vana’s DataDAO, and establish Zuvu as a frontrunner in AI finance, potentially influencing industry procedures.
This partnership corresponds to the increasing open-source artificial intelligence drive, reflecting Bittensor’s growth to 45 operating subnets. It also responds to the requirement for substitutes to concentrated artificial intelligence behemoths, presenting a more distributed and cooperative method to artificial intelligence progress.
