# Zuvu AI and Vana Unite to Decentralize AI in Bittensor
Zuvu AI and Vana revealed their alliance on February 26, with the intention of enhancing decentralized AI within the Bittensor network. Their objective is to construct a more financially sound and accessible ecosystem for artificial intelligence.
Zuvu AI, formerly recognized as SocialTensor, provides experience in scaling four Bittensor (TAO) subnets to the discussion. Vana, recently guided by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, contributes its pioneering user-possessed data network.
This cooperation is crafted to examine a fresh model for AI development by incorporating key layers of a decentralized AI stack. This model will be cooperative, accessible, and financially viable.
## Establishing Genuine Worth
Art Abal, Managing Director of the Vana Foundation, remarked that this alliance merges Vana’s data layer, Bittensor’s subnet network, and Zuvu’s economic layer. This integration is planned to enhance Vana’s DataDAO ecosystem and tackle key obstacles in AI development.
Zuvu is fueling the economic layer for AI, enabling investment, staking, trading, and monetization of models, agents, and data. This establishes fresh prospects in a rapidly expanding market. According to the press release, this partnership arrives as the AI market is anticipated to reach trillions of dollars by 2032.
## DeFi’s Growing Disturbance
This partnership is strategically integrated into Bittensor, leveraging its incentive-driven network to scale AI development. By merging user-possessed data with permissionless computing and economic incentives, this cooperation mirrors how decentralized finance is disturbing traditional finance.
According to both Abal and Daniel Raissar, COO of Zuvu AI, this alliance is projected to enhance the diversity of Bittensor’s subnets, support the expansion of Vana’s DataDAO, and position Zuvu as a leader in the financialization of AI, potentially influencing industry practices.
This collaboration mirrors the increasing trend toward AI with open-source code, quite similar to Bittensor’s growth to 45 operational subnets. It constitutes an immediate reaction to the demand for substitutes for the prevailing, consolidated AI enterprises.
