The crypto industry’s personal investigator, ZachXBT, has accepted a consulting position at Paradigm, a crypto investment company focused on research.
ZachXBT, who transitioned into an on-chain detective after experiencing fraud firsthand, verified the announcement on X, mentioning that he will advise on incident response and collaborate with firms within the crypto venture company’s portfolio.
The anonymous on-chain investigator emphasized that joining Paradigm will not alter his objective: examining and resolving offenses linked to blockchain technology. He views it as a means to continue assisting the community and sharing his discoveries, emphasizing Paradigm’s efforts to the sector, such as financing security projects and open-source research.
“It represented a straightforward choice since it enables me to remain independent to proceed with supporting the community and releasing investigations. I’ve always possessed considerable admiration for how Paradigm contributes back to the space by funding initiatives like the Security Alliance, publishing open source research, and aiding in maintaining privacy.” Toncoin (TON) Value Forecast for March 26th
Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang echoed this sentiment, declaring that ZachXBT’s work in the domain will remain unchanged. Huang stated:
“ZachXBT is an exceptional person who employs on-chain forensics to hold accountable individuals with bad intentions. He has aided victims of breaches and scams in recovering more than $350 million. This is progressively crucial as the industry expands. We are thrilled to have ZachXBT join Paradigm as a consultant. His focus will not change; we simply desire to support him in continuing to perform this excellent work.”
ZachXBT has played a key role in revealing numerous crypto-related offenses, with his comprehensive investigations assisting law enforcement in carrying out arrests.
Recently, he contributed to identifying the Lazarus Group as the offenders responsible for a $1.5 million theft from the Bybit exchange, obtaining a $50,000 reward from Arkham for his endeavors.
Bybit, a digital currency trading venue, has openly acknowledged the assistance of the blockchain sleuth ZachXBT in introducing their system specifically created to fight the Lazarus Group cybercriminals.
