- In a discussion with DL News, Arthur Hayes expressed that Trump’s nationalist approaches will drive Bitcoin to $250,000 by the conclusion of 2025.
- The forthcoming president’s strategies will result in a decline in the dollar’s value.
- Hayes expects that all global currencies will weaken this year.
By 2025, nations will be pursuing their own agendas — they are activating their money printing operations.
At least, that is the forecast from Arthur Hayes.
The key trend in 2025 will be intensified currency issuance due to nationalist economic strategies, as highlighted by the Chief Investment Officer of Hayes Fund during a conversation with DL News.
He remarked, “Every nation will focus on its populace and will seek to stabilize economic fluctuations through increased money supply.”
This will initiate a domino effect of currency devaluation, and Hayes is convinced it will lead investors to seek alternative assets such as gold and cryptocurrencies for safety.
He mentioned to DL News, “Bitcoin will hit $250,000 by the year’s end.”
Hayes is the most recent market expert to suggest that President Trump’s administration will elevate Bitcoin’s worth. The president-elect has vowed to enact favorable policies for cryptocurrencies, which industry experts believe will advance this asset category. Toncoin (TON) Value Forecast for March 26th
Opposing the Dollar
Hayes suggested that Trump will adopt a more confrontational approach to monetary policy than other global leaders.
He conveyed to DL News, “Trump will greatly reduce the dollar’s value in comparison to gold.”
This scenario starkly contrasts with the significant appreciation of the dollar following the election — the dollar surged to a two-year peak — alongside the Federal Reserve’s aggressive actions taken at the end of December.
The Federal Reserve has signaled intentions to uphold elevated interest rates and a prudent monetary policy, which directly opposes Hayes’ forecasts.
Some investors have noted an unusual occurrence where both the dollar and Bitcoin are presently exhibiting upward trends.
Generally, when the dollar weakens, the worth of cryptocurrencies often experiences a significant increase, and the opposite is also true.
Plans for Bitcoin Development
This week, Hayes unveiled his perspective on Bitcoin for 2025. In his recent blog post on Tuesday, he stated, ‘The optimal moment to sell is in the later stages of the first quarter,’ and he expects ‘an improvement in favorable fiat liquidity conditions by the third quarter.’
Hayes predicts that by early 2025, dollar liquidity will rise as the U.S. Treasury will have to borrow to sustain the government. During such periods, the values of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies usually ascend as well.
Experts from Tyr Capital, Standard Chartered, and Bernstein forecast that Bitcoin will hit $200,000 by the year’s conclusion.
