Aurora represents a tailored chain ecosystem that is EVM-compatible, constructed on the NEAR platform. Here, we provide crucial upgrade information regarding its cloud console.
Aurora Labs has unveiled a novel feature in its cloud console that streamlines blockchain deployment. Now, anyone can initiate and oversee a rollup, a personalized L2 blockchain network on Near, without any coding knowledge.
Automated Blockchain Launch Available in Aurora Cloud Console
Aurora Labs, the creator of EVM-compatible blockchain solutions within the NEAR framework, has achieved notable progress with the Aurora Cloud Console. Beginning in February 2025, users will discover it simpler than ever to initiate rollups via the Aurora Cloud Console.
The launch of automation capabilities in the Aurora Cloud Console (ACC) signifies the initial milestone in its extensive roadmap for 2025, designed to revolutionize the blockchain infrastructure within the NEAR ecosystem.
By removing the challenges linked to developing custom blockchains, the Aurora Cloud Console enables developers and enterprises to deploy bespoke chains at unmatched speeds.
CEO Alex Shevchenko of Aurora Labs provided valuable perspectives on this recent advancement in blockchain deployment and oversight:
The Aurora Cloud Console paves the way for a future where launching a blockchain is as effortless as deploying a smart contract. With the introduction of 1,000 chains, we are cultivating an ecosystem where anyone can create endlessly, scale without limitations, and fully utilize the robust capabilities of the NEAR network. The barriers have vanished. Now anyone can become a creator.
New functionalities of the Aurora Cloud Console encompass a guided onboarding experience, customization of parameters (permissions, base tokens, gas fees, integrations), real-time transaction usage tracking, and monitoring of chain deployment status.
Streamlining Access to Rollup as a Service (RaaS) Opportunities
The forthcoming update will feature integrated forwarders and support for intent, alongside automated bridge setup to improve interoperability. Subsequently, a one-click Oracle installation will be introduced, allowing projects to retrieve pricing information from sources such as CoinGecko or Dexscreener, while also enabling thorough gas management and adjustable chain permissions.
Throughout the year, Aurora Labs’ strategic plan intends to launch stablecoins and Bitcoin (BTC) as core tokens, creating a universal index for digital chains, reviving dormant chains, and enhancing on-chain automation of intent capabilities.
The growth of ACC’s automation corresponds with the rising demand for Rollups as a Service (RaaS), as the industry experiences an increasing need for scalable and effective blockchain solutions. The no-cost launch model of ACC, along with its complete customizability, will offer equal chances for the upcoming generation of projects within the thriving NEAR and Aurora ecosystems.
