# Dogwifhat Promoters Possess $700,000; Intentions to Publicize on Las Vegas Sphere Incite Indignation
* The Dogwifhat image is still to beautify the Las Vegas Sphere.
* A group headed by digital currency promoter Zion Thomas gathered $650,000 for the venture ten months ago.
A group of five digital currency promoters gathered $650,000 early last year for the definitive digital currency marketing drive: to display the image of Dogwifhat, the well-known Solana-based image, onto the 366-foot-tall Las Vegas Sphere.
Nevertheless, ten months after the group attained its objective, the scheme is still to materialize.
As the Shiba Inu-themed image’s trading worth plunged to a multi-month nadir, uncertainties emerged about whether the organizers would proceed with the scheme.

Two of the five persons controlling the gathered finances affirmed to *DL News* that the group still anticipates utilizing the funds to display the Dogwifhat image onto the Sphere.
Mihir, one of the five persons controlling the finances, communicated to *DL News*: “We value the community participants and aspire to execute in the most impressive manner.”
When questioned why the group hadn’t organized the occasion yet, Mihir stated, “Timing is very crucial.”
Another group participant, Edward, communicated to *DL News*: “An announcement is anticipated shortly.”
*DL News* was unable to independently validate the legitimacy of these schemes.
*DL News* was unable to contact Zion Thomas, recognized in digital currency circles as Ansem, or the other two organizers of the Wif on Sphere occasion for commentary.
Thomas’s last post about the Wif on Sphere occasion was over five months ago, where he joked about the occasion not fulfilling its assurance to display the Dogwifhat image onto the Sphere.
## The Dogwifhat Tale
Dogwifhat is an image grounded on a photo of a dog donning a pink crocheted hat, launched on the Solana blockchain in November 2023.
Dogwifhat, a digital currency that has risen to prominence, achieving a market capitalization of $1 billion in only 81 days, is being questioned about an advertising effort that was promised.
A group of crypto influencers, led by Thomas, launched the “Wif on Sphere” project in January, seeking contributions to show the Dogwifhat logo on the Las Vegas Sphere. The team secured a week-long advertising space after successfully collecting $650,000.
However, updates on the Sphere appearance have been sluggish, even as the WIF token reached an all-time high of $4.83, with a market capitalization exceeding $4.5 billion.
Despite assertions that the buzz around WIF has diminished since March, Mishir, one of the organizers, maintains that interest remains strong, citing recent listings on Coinbase and Robinhood. The Solana wallet utilized for donations still contains approximately $700,000.
However, almost a year later, Thomas and his colleagues have yet to provide evidence verifying their contact with the Sphere’s marketing staff.
Meanwhile, Dogwifhat’s price has fallen 70% from its March high, leaving many to wonder why the Sphere ad is taking so long. Some believe that the stunt, if performed when fundraising began, may not have had the same effect.
