Located in Asia, Jsquare’s fresh fund is committed to closing the divide between East and West, intending to build strategic collaborations with US, UAE, Japan, South Korea, and ASEAN entities.
The fund is spearheaded by Jsquare Founding Partner Joanne Liang, who formerly acted as the Chief Investment Officer at international Web3 venture capital company DFG. James Wo, the CEO and Founder of DFG, will become part of Vanguard Fund as a Venture Partner.
Joanne Liang stresses that the debut of the new fund is vital for next-generation startups seeking funding to advance their RWA, DeFi, and PayFi progress:

The rising institutional interest is a powerful demonstration of this expansion, with prominent financial institutions such as Standard Chartered and Boston Consulting Group participating in RWA, emphasizing its transition towards widespread applications.
Furthermore, the field will also gain from the long-anticipated regulatory-friendly policies in the United States, which are anticipated to be presented by the new administration.
Jsquare has declared the establishment of a fresh $50 million advancement capital, and one of its initial financial infusions will be directed towards Minion Labs. This capital’s objective is to connect the divide between the Eastern and Western spheres within the Web3 domain.
