# Metaplanet Japan Enlists Eric Trump for Bitcoin Guiding Group
To stimulate Bitcoin acceptance, Metaplanet is creating a calculated guiding group, selecting Eric Trump as its initial participant.
Japanese investment enterprise Metaplanet has declared the establishment of a fresh guiding group, with Eric Trump as its opening participant. This action is projected to broaden its existence in the Bitcoin (BTC) division and reinforce its position as a treasury enterprise.
CEO Simon Grovich stated on X that Eric Trump, distinguished for his work in real estate and finance, is anticipated to contribute business proficiency to the group, assisting to “construct one of the foremost Bitcoin treasury enterprises internationally.”
According to Metaplanet’s press release, the fresh group will encompass “powerful individuals, speakers, and thought forerunners from around the globe who are enthusiastic about advancing Bitcoin’s mission and cultivating financial innovation.”
Metaplanet hasn’t indicated Trump’s precise function but stated that his appointment “demonstrates Metaplanet’s devotion to assembling top-tier guiding talent to advance its calculated goals.” The enterprise also mentioned it is still increasing its Bitcoin assets and is committed to developing fresh financial goods, without furnishing additional specifics.
Besides Bitcoin, Eric Trump seems absorbed in Ethereum (ETH). In early February, when ETH was trading around $2,900, he posted on X, saying, “Good moment for Ethereum,” even adding, “Appreciate me later.”
