## Tezos Layer-2 Sidechain Etherlink Debuts with a $3 Million Stimulus Initiative

As the foremost major layer-2 blockchain fueled by Tezos, Etherlink is rolling out the welcome mat for programmers with a committed initiative to promote construction on the chain. The “Apple Farm” prizes initiative, Season 1, will allocate a massive $3 million to participants.

Submissions for both the Etherlink programmer initiative and the Apple Farm are currently open. These undertakings arrive at a period of swift expansion for the Etherlink ecosystem, with a surge in Real World Asset (RWA) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications being implemented.

Apple Farm is an incentive platform made to give users rewards for checking out the Etherlink environment. With interesting features and a strong point system, the program aims to encourage important on-chain actions, initially focusing on introducing users to DeFi apps.
Apple Farm presents a new points-based system where users can get Apples by taking part in different DeFi activities.
Etherlink’s activation of the Bifröst upgrade makes some changes to the network.
Also, the Etherlink Builder’s Program is supposed to introduce the next group of developers to the Web3 space and its chances.
