# Zuvu AI and Vana Unite to Enhance Distributed AI on Bittensor
Zuvu AI and Vana revealed a collaboration on February 26, intending to improve distributed AI abilities within the Bittensor network. The objective is to develop an AI environment that is not only more economically viable but also more accessible to all.
Zuvu AI, formerly known as SocialTensor, contributes its expertise in growing four Bittensor (TAO) subnets. Vana, which recently received guidance from Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, contributes its innovative user-owned data network.
This cooperation is about testing a novel, open, cooperative, and economically viable model for AI development by combining essential layers of the distributed AI stack.
## Developing Tangible Worth
Art Abal, Managing Director at Vana Foundation, stated that this collaboration integrates Vana’s data layer, Bittensor’s subnet network, and Zuvu’s economic layer. This will enhance Vana’s DataDAO environment and address significant challenges in AI development.
Zuvu is enabling the AI economic layer, enabling investment, staking, trading, and monetization of models, agents, and data. This creates fresh prospects in a rapidly expanding market. According to the news release, this cooperation occurs when the AI market is predicted to reach trillions of dollars by 2032.
## DeFi’s Increasing Revolutionary Influence
Integrating with Bittensor is a calculated move, leveraging its incentivized network to scale AI development. By combining user-owned data with permissionless computing and economic incentives, this collaboration mirrors how distributed finance is disrupting traditional finance.
According to Abal and Zuvu AI COO Daniel Raissar, this partnership is anticipated to improve the diversity of Bittensor’s subnets, support the expansion of Vana’s DataDAO, and position Zuvu as a leader in AI financialization, potentially influencing industry standards.
This partnership corresponds to the increasing pattern of open-source AI creation, reflecting the growth of endeavors such as Bittensor, which presently features 45 functioning subnets. It squarely tackles the need for substitutes to unified AI behemoths, encouraging a more distributed and approachable AI environment.
